Post with pictures
I know lamest title ever but I really don’t know how to name a post with pictures other than naming it ‘post with pictures’ wtf. I don’t wanna come up with some super emo title like “someday I’ll see the light” WTF for a post that has nothing to do with me seeing the light and is simply just, well, a post with pictures.
Why am I so ‘cheong hei’ wtf. Long breath wtf.
Anyway, last weekend we went to the Asian market to stock up on our indomies and whatnots. This is how we look like when we’re really carsick. I swear it has something to do with the air here! Why I get so carsick so fast?!

My $3.99 Forever 21 top =D (RM14) Actually the secret of finding good deals is…no secret wtf. I’m just lucky lah what can I say.
Pictures aside, I have something serious to discuss with everyone.
The thing is..I’m in dire need of money right, cause you know I wanna come home for summer right, so right, erm..
do you think it’s okay for me to write advertorials? I know this is my blog and I should do whatever rocks my boat but I’m not trying to be a sell-out blogger here, I just need the money and I do use those products in the advertorials myself, so do you think it’s ok?
According to Skyler who reads my blog wtf, she says she doesn’t care as long as it’s funny. Aud says it’s ok if you believe in the products you’re writing on. I do write based on what I feel about it (with lotsa limitations-no wtfs, no swear words etc =( ) , but will you consider me a ’sell-out’ blogger then? (actually i don’t even really know what sell-out means also wtf)

I think it doesn’t matter as long as you actually use the product and have written an honest review of it (warts and all).
Unlike some blogs I’ve seen who simply type out a rubbish post, then link products to random words scattered throughout the post.
Like if the blogger was writing about how it was a hot day and he/ she had to drink lots of water to keep hydrated, the words ‘hot’ and ‘water’ would be hyperlinked wtf.
And why cannot use wtf? It’s part of you and how you write wtf.
OK lah, I can understand how advertisers probably won’t be too impressed by it, but maybe you could tell them thou art their king who hast conquered chilly temperatures and then your first snowfall, so thy subjects should just kuai kuai and shut up now wtf.

It should be alright to write advertorials since you actually use the products and you know the products better than anyone else who doesn’t use them.

about the advertorial, as long as you’ve tested the product and write honestly, i think it should be fine. no difference from what beauty magazines are doing anyway
but must you write glowing reviews even though the product may not be so good, or can you be honest and tell it as it is?
oh and don’t change your style of writing for the advertorials, or else it would seem really forced and fake
it will be a ‘review’ if u have really used the product. who cares abt sell-out or not, as long as u’re still funny. u can write whatever u want and i will still read lor. so go ahead and earn ur cash! (:

Of cos, as ur reader, I would prefer to read a personal blog rather han one infiltrated with advertorials, whatnot.. But put myself in ur shoes, no harm done if u can combine interest (blogging) & money-making (including advertorials in ur blog), esp when u need that extra cash.

as for the advertorial, i think that it’s a very personal thing lah. for me i wouldnt even dream of it but tht’s coz my blog is super low profile, for a blog your size, i’d say why not? good + relatively easy money wat
xiaxue does advertorials all the time but i still like reading her blog. im sure u can handle advertorials well .. there are some bloggers out there who write damn cibai advertorials by praising certain products as though its a gift from god but in the first place, the product itself also ‘wtf’ wan.
I think everyone can understand a students situation ,we’re half the time broke. Go for it.
