Religious Suet?

Due to a demand to blog from certain people, I shall put aside the million and one things I have to do and blog about something really boring..like about me going to the church.

I know! close your mouths now!

Ok back story: My friend Giang asked me to go to some Christian Fellowship thingy this evening and normally I’d reject these kinda invitations since I’m strictly not a religious person AT ALL. But she said I’ll meet new friends and you all know how much I need more friends right now wtf. So I said ok I’ll gooo provided if they have free food wtf.

No free food in the end but I had lotsa fun! I noticed that religious people are generally much friendlier wtf, why ah? Cause when we first got there, we stood at a corner quietly and so many people approached us! I’m also going to the real church this Sunday for a mass (gasp all you want) BECAUSE they said we’re gonna go to Umass (a university) after that and eat there! Everyone knows umass has the bestttt food everrr! (oh for free too =DDDD)

I’m such a glutton wtf

Anywayyy I don’t have anything interesting to talk about. I just read all the news about what’s going on back home now and felt so appalled! What is happening to my country! Yeah I know people are gonna say that I’m not there now so I don’t have the right to be concerned/talk about it/feel sad but hey I’m here physically but every other part of me is back home with you guys ok *emo wtf

I don’t know much about it so I’m not going to sound smart and talk about it. But do tell me more if you want, and please think before you comment about this though cause you never know..I might get in trouble for the comments =S unless if that’s what you want to happen to me wtf

—-

I broke whatever rules I set for myself today cause I ate..after 9pm.

Mine was Asam Laksa but I didn’t take a picture of it.

I love mini snacks cause it’s only 137kcal per packet and I don’t feel that guilty eating it. I asked my mom to send me more but she said she doesn’t wanna make me fatter =(

so excited! while waiting for the water to boil

it’s readyyy!

I broke another rule…I usually will never ever drink the soup cause it’s really bad for you but omg the taste of asam laksa maggi was sooooo good I had to drink all of it.The taste is still lingering somewhere in my mouth. mmmm

super satisfied lor! Although I probably just gained another kg but I’ve never felt happier gaining that kg

oh I wanted to buy a daily planner thingy and a calendar and went to the bookstore. To my chagrin, I found out that a daily planner costs around $5!!! (rm18) So expensive! So! I did it myself! Drew this calendar myself and used an old notebook as my daily planner..which I haven’t gotten around to using yet.

taking camwhoring to another new level wtf

ok I have to finish all my work today and tomorrow so I can go to the church this Sunday! this is a new suet yo wtf (although I find it really hard to not scream ‘god doesn’t exist!!’ when they’re talking about how great He is..but I shall go to the church anyway to help me understand this fascination with a non-existent being) (and eat umass’ food)

If you aren’t already a committed Christian, please do yourself a great favor, stay away!

Most Christians are vulchers, preying on those staying away from home, lonely and vulnerable. The bait usually starts with the casual lure of foods and the remedy for loneliness is mostly via the ancient desert lies. A number of my friends have had the same experiences as you just had, and devoted much of their time in the book of lies instead of studying. The result couldn’t have been more predictable; dropout after the second year. Believe me; no one has ever passed an exam by praying.

You’re strong and capable of making new friends and trust your judgement in making new friends.

    to bewareOfGodAgent:

i agree that “no one has ever passed an exam by praying” henceforth the verse “faith without work is dead”. it is a pretty weak argument you have there, and no offense, rather judgemental.

of course sweat lee is strong and capable of making new friends herself, but there is no harm in having a fellow friend (who happened to be a christian) inviting her to events in attempts to help her to socialise and make more friends. plus there is food (she said it herself). i see it as a win- win situation. at the end of the day, we all have choices, and she has and will be making her own.

on the recent saga in the Malaysian politics scene:
In short, a certain politician made racist statements saying that Malaysian Chinese are squatters and immigrants who will never achieve equal rights in Malaysia.

He then refuses to apologise and created all these drama-rama. Then finally, PM SUSPENDED him for a mere three years from UMNO. That’s all.

Oh and by the way, a reporter who reported the truth was arrested under the ISA for speaking the truth apparently.

So very interestingly appalling. Or you could say appallingly interesting?

and i think it is your friends’ fault for not studying at all and hoping that they can pass by just praying to God. obviously they have misunderstood christianity.

I agree with baz, not satisfied looking at all!

About the church people damn friendly to you: From my experience, the church friends became super friendly to me only in the beginning when they think I could fall to the dark side with them. When they see that I really am there just to learn about Christianity, i.e. finish their free food, i.e. have no interest in converting, walao weh, it’s worse than being alone wtf. I felt alone in a crowd of people wtf.

My only regret was that I sometimes felt malu and didn’t eat as much as I can. So, I advise you to gorge yourself with their food in case the same thing happens to you. Fikir tentang masa depan, wtf.

And wtf bewareofGodAgent why so bigoted one! I know lots of Christians who are sincere in their dealings with me and remain friendly till today. It’s not the religion that makes one a vulture, it’s the person itself, wtf. And VulCHER should get back together with VulSONNY. wtf 60s reference.

And wtf God’s Agent, why so tak malu call yourself God’s Agent one. God’s probably like “Wtfwtfwtf since when I employed this dude[ette]?!”

And wtf Fuzzy! This is why I so long never comment on your blog one. Always become mini-blog wtfwtfwtf

The Christian foot soldiers sure would want you to believe that it’s simply foods and friendship that they are offering. They are simply disengenuine which is most troubling. This bunch of retarded bible thumbing nuts is actually recruiting in the name of “doing god’s mission”, it’s no different from their Islamic cousins of the same imaginary desert god.

Christians and their cousins are basically not capable of being truthful and fundamentally evil and potentially dangerous.

suet… im a christian! but im not evil, am i?

i hate how some people judge when they dont know why they do what they do. bewareOfGodFootSoldier, what’s up with you man (or woman)? if you’ve personally had a bad experience with a christian, really, just get over it. what’s the point putting us all in a bad light? plus, what makes you think that just cos christians are christians, they are not human? and im sure i dont have to point out to you that no one person is perfect. we all have our flaws, christian or not.

i wont say how great we are just cos we are christians, that’d be a lie. we all have good days, we all have bad days, and yes, sometimes we swear. we get drunk. some of us smoke.

if we like buying people food and nice things it doesnt mean we want to brainwash them into joining us. it just means we are a generous bunch of people. and calling me a retarded bible thumbing nut?

let’s just say if i ever get to meet you in person, you’re gonna lose a vital body part. like i’ve said: im human. i will break you.

HAAHAHAH WTF Suet – at least you are upfront about it lah ok wtf

i honestly think no harm no foul loh, as long as both parties are upfront about what’s happening and no one’s being misled? =)

and sibs makes a good point: just because you’re of a certain religion, doesn’t erase your personality. i know all flavours of christians (from really laidback ones to born again evangelists) and they are who they are really…

about the erm, situation. sigh. Cherrie gave an awesome rundown, so yeah, that’s pretty much it in a nutshell. it makes you wonder about certain things though…like the misuse of the ISA and cronyism and freedom (in Msia got such thing ar wtf) of the press…….

yeah, hope my comment wasn’t specific enough to get you into trouble wtf wtf.

And, of course no one has ever passed an exam by praying lah. You have to do your part and the rest which is not under YOUR control, you leave it to God! Crapping or what now?

Please, be respectful. Didn’t know this sort of humans still exist. Even if you previously had a bad encounter with a christian, you should not make a statement like this! Hopefully you’ll not regret what you’ve said.

What’s going down in Malaysia is that the very charismatic RPK was detained by the ISA along with the journalist who reported Ahmad Ismail’s crude statement and not forgetting a member of the parliament was detained as well.

RPK was accused of being anti-Islam and anti-Government, when the fact is he speaks his mind and he speaks for the people. In my point of view, it seems that BN are currently panicking over the whole 916 issue and taking drastic action to hold their spot as the government.

It seems that Malaysia will soon become a police state. That’s the gist of it I think.

  33. 33
    Baz says:

jeez, people, calm. the phuck. down.

bewareofgodagent: dude, your proselytizing of the dangers of christianity is as bad as what the evangelists that you hate so much do. get off your hypocritical high chair, you’re an embarrassment to atheists everywhere.

delilah: he’s a troll, stop feeding him. but the fact that you were happy that suet went to that christian thing actually proves the point of the dumbass above. if suet had gone to a similar meeting that was buddhist/atheist/whatever instead, and had as much fun as she did with those christians, would you have said you were “glad and happy” for her?

anyway, from a long-time atheist (and one-time satanist wtf another story for another day), my point is, internet trolls exist. don’t feed them. and “atheists” that act like evangelists are just as bad. and christians, be happy suet has found some new friends, not because you think she’s joined your club.

  34. 34
    Valerie says:

I’m a Christian and I think people are generally nicer when they feel fulfilled from inside. Just like when the world is rosier when you find love/are in love. It’s the same just that our spirituality is a love that is any love you also experience, religion or not.

  35. 35
    tzeching says:

HAHAHAHAHAHA BEWARE OF GOD’S AGENT HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA U R MY NEW IDOL THE GODFOOT SOLDIER ALSO HAHAAHAHAH

ok on a more serious note: i don’t think all christians are bad la. i have alot of christian friends and they are very nice, never once have they tried to convert or preach to me, they just tell me that hell has reserved a spot for me wtf.

but you have to see how people have a point tho. alot of chinese christians seem to have forgotten that they are chinese too, ie forgoing all traditions that have been handed down generations after generations. and there are quite a number who make it their life mission to go around telling people that if you do not believe in their god you go to hell. also they have a habit of converting people on their deathbeds. these are the people which give the religion a very bad name.

aih my point is right if they would stop doing that then it would be brilliant kthxbye wtf.

  36. 36
    sweatlee says:

sibs, haha no one said u’re evil! yeah i’ve learnt that not all christians are the same. i’ve met really good ones, and bad ones but i know i shouldn’t judge them based on their religion. hahah wahh chillll

crash, i didnt go! haha i had an important event to attend =S

kidd, do u think we’ll have to declare emergency or anything like that? this is really worrying. i hope the situation back at home is not too bad, and there wont be any racial riots and the rakyats are smart enough to realize that this is another stupid ploy from bn.

baz, sigh maybe i shouldnt have talked about me going to a christian gathering wtf. cause this shouldnt have to be about religion at all..it’s just about me knowing more people T__T

valerie, i’m going to agree to what u said, but to a certain extent. that’s why i feel religion is a really good thing if you don’t overdo it.

tze, yeah all my christians friends are very nice too ok. sigh that’s why i think religion like buddhism is the best cause they dont really try to get more ppl but just want peace in the world ohmmm wtf

  37. 37
    Kidd says:

Ever since Anwar’s declaration of a new government, BN had started digging its grave. Ahmad Ismail’s comment, and the respond of 3 years suspension, in my point of view, is literally the finishing touch on writing BN on the tombstone.

However, the state of emergency is present among individuals who know well what is going on; with the oppression and power abuse, it would seem Malaysia is becoming more of a totalitarian rule rather than practicing true democracy.

There had been a silent protest in front of the Balai which the ISA detainees were taken to, but no big riots had taken place, yet.

The future of Malaysia looks dark and gloomy but I believe a change is imminent as the dawn of 916 begins.
