Redbull Female Driver Search
I was invited to join a few other bloggers (Ringo and Cindy) for a mysterious race in Sepang the other day! It was a mysterious race cause I didn’t really know what I had to do there but the adventurous (albeit lazy) me said ok I’ll go since I haven’t been there for a long time. I used to work in Sepang and didn’t really like it cause it was so hot all the time bah. But I haven’t been inside the circuit before..and maybe I’ll get to ride in one of those race cars!

We were invited because Red Bull and Asia Advanced Driving Academy are collaborating for a competition called the Red Bull Female Driver Search. Bleh who says girls can’t drive! We can even race ok!
The car. I learned something new! Next to the names of the drivers, there are also their blood types in case if anything happens. So cool right
This search is to find a female driver to race in Asia’s biggest endurance competition, Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race. You have to drive 12 hours under all kinds of weather conditions on the Sepang International F1 Circuit. o_0

And before I went deaf wtf. Cause I was leaning forward to get this shot and suddenly this car came really near my side and vroomed his engine! Damn loud ok I swear I couldn’t hear for a minute or two after that.

Blur pic but she was driving at 180 km/h! Surprisingly it didn’t feel very fast though when I was in the car. There were sooo many turnings and I felt sick after that =(
Cindy had to wear this suit! But she looked really good in it though.
I was a little lazy to go at first but I’m glad I went! I got to ride in a racecar ok you get or not! *gloats wtf

Roadshows will kick-start after the online registration closes which will be held in various locations nationwide such as Kuching, Penang, Malacca, Ipoh, Johor, Kota Bahru, Kuala Terengganu and of course…..Kuala Lumpur! Here the participants will undergo a series of interviews and simple driving tests. Oh yeah it’s manual duh so you have to know how to drive a manual .

for one moment i was confused. were you in massachusetts? or in kl? i thought maybe you were travelling lots, except, apparently you are known for being, ahem, frugal, so that’s not possible.
hmm. am i the only malaysian here who’s not excited about F1? i must’ve been gone for too long. already forgot how malaysians love F1. lol.
p/s: you don’t look fat or short. they’re not very spectacularly taller than you, are they? and next to ringo, anyone would look like a sesame ball next to a stick of kangkung. haha.

hey… puteri is my close friend. I hope u’re not the one she told me about. Cuz she told me she took a blogger on a ride at sepang and end up she was too afraid to leave the cockpit afterwards. but since u can still take photos while she drives means u’re not the scared blogger lah
