NMF

I’m going to the Northeast Malaysia Forum, the same one I went to last year!

The Northeast Malaysia Forum is a network of Malaysian students and professionals based in the Northeast United States. The NMF continues with the same goal, engaging Malaysians and interested parties in discussion about and participation in Malaysian development in every scope and field.

The best part about this year’s forum is it’ll be globally available! There will be forums held in KL, Australia, UK, Singapore, Chicago, Sanfran, AND Indiana! (and the main one is of course in the northeast region, this time it’ll be at Yale University)

The cool part is this entire event is actually a teleconference like what we did last year. All the speakers are in Malaysia and we’ll use Skype to broadcast them globally!! how cool is that seriously? Also, they need more people to attend the KL one which will be held Studio V, 1 Utama Shopping Center. It’ll be on Saturday from 8pm-11pm (at night cause it’ll be morning in the US) so if you can make it, please do email chenchow [at] gmail [dot] com!

For more details, go to www.malaysiaforum.org/nmf/

Our main topic of discusssion will be on Malaysia 2.0: Vision 2020. I’m so proud that there are so many people of the younger generation who still deeply care for our country enough to want to make a change!

See you there! Maybe they’ll show my face on skype.. You know when the speakers are talking then you see a girl frantically making peace signs and waving like crazy in the background? That’ll be me wtf
