Because I don’t have anything to update on since my life is getting duller as I speak, here’s the great couple meme by Su Ann! It’s a set of questions that you have to answer about your partner and then he has to answer the same questions about you! Quite long so take your time.

tell us about the first time you met and your first impression of him/her:
I probably told this story like a million times. I was 16, a waitress, and he came in with his family. I thought he was cute so I kept looking at him teehee wtf. So I quickly went and took their order and his mother asked if I was Indian cause I had a pottu on my forehead. Ah, I love being a waitress.

what’s a weird habit or quirk that s/he has?: He HAS to sleep with earplugs and eyemask. We call those his “sleeping kit” cause he has to sleep with them every single night or he’ll never get enough sleep. Siao one so dependent on inanimate objects already!

what makes him/her happy?: When Manchester United wins a match, ME, Malaysian food!

what makes him/her sad?: When I’m upset at him..when MU loses wtf MU sux. I swear MU>me in his heart

what makes him/her angry?: When MU loses (4-1 to Liverpool hahahahhaha), definitely not me hehehe can you believe that he only got angry at me THREE times in this entire 4 years and 4 months we’ve been together??

what excites him/her?: Clothes! Doing anything with me or to me…..

what’s s/he like at home?: Lazy. Always chillaxing and bumming around. We’re made for each other in this sense cause we’re the two laziest people I’ve ever seen wtf

what’s s/he like at work/school?: In high school, he was the super rebellious type! Always painted his nails black, had long hair etc tsk tsk. He’s so much better now in college cause he’s rather serious about his work.

describe his/her room: OK let’s talk about his room at home in Msia cause I don’t now why I put up with that room for so long. To start, it has 4 posters of Marilyn Manson and 3 posters of Manchester Stupid United. Then, there are several other posters of Japanese girls clad in skimpy clothes. If that’s not enough, there’s a FHM calendar that features the sexiest women in that year or something. T___T

do you know who s/he hates the most?: Hmm..probably one of my exes

have you met his/her exes?: Yeap! And we’re very nice to each other too

do his/her parents like you?: I think so…hahah yes lah I’m pretty sure! We’re kind of close and I treat them like my own parents too
what’s the first thing s/he would do or say if s/he fell down and scraped their knee: fuckkkkkkkkk ouchhhhhh huhuhuh and then look at me so I can sayang him wtf

what would s/he do in an emergency situation with other people involved?: Calm and will take charge

which shop would s/he spend the most time at in a shopping mall?: Apparel stores no doubt, he’s really into clothes

what would s/he have for a typical breakfast?: He doesn’t wake up early enough for breakfast but if he does, it’ll be a hugeee one. Omelet, bacon, toast, cereal, milk, juice

where would s/he want to go for dinner?: Wherever I wanna go…^_^

what kind of movie would s/he choose at the cinema?: Only very good unconventional movies. I’ll die before I see him agreeing to watch any Adam Sandler movies/ slapstick comedies/ chick flicks

describe his/her taste in music: haha where do I start? It changed from rock (Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails) to classic rock and roll (Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Crash, Rolling Stone) to Indie and happy multi-layered instrumental music (MGMT, Arcade Fire). He’s a HUGE movie and music buff and has a big influence on my own taste in music and films

if s/he wasnt going out with you, who would s/he be going out with?: Someone like me haha! I don’t know seriously, cause we’ve changed each other so so much. Someone chatty and not shy, someone who has a great personality (not praising myself ok wtf)

what item in his/her wardrobe would you like to burn: His stupid DKNY sweater that looks like a stupid windbreaker wtf and he’ll probably say my blue wreck of a tshirt that I wear at home ALL the time (in fact I have TWO of them! So if I wash one I still have a spare one wtf)

what is s/he good at?: Making me happy when I’m sad, in bed WTF, writing, and he’s the most awesome boyfriend in the world. oh! and drawing silly stuff to make me laugh! eg:

ok so I always do this stupid thing where I’ll say this in a very serious tone “Barry I have something to tell you” or “we really need to talk” just to scare him but it’s always something stupid like I love yo…yo…..yoghurt wtf

So this time he told me he wanted to tell me something so I said it must be something unimportant too but actually he wanted to say I love you so the picture is of me stepping on his heart ahhahaha

what is s/he totally horrible at?: dealing with kids and people in general, Chinese (he always bugs me to teach him Chinese so I taught him this phrase and he keeps saying that!!! “wo fang pi zai ni de nian, hao ma?” hahahaha it means I fart in your face, ok? HAHAHAH I thought him fart in your hand, fart in your stomach, fart in your butt too wtf)

what’s something about him/her that is annoying/infuriating?: The fact that he’s veryyy slow in everything, AND ALSO!!! I hate it that he always channel-surfs all the time! When I watch TV, I like to stick to one channel and concentrate on one thing. How to watch if you keep switching channels??

what’s something that you two fundamentally disagree on?: Nothing! I think..oh yeah on marriage. He doesn’t believe that getting married will change anything. what’s something that you two agree whole-heartedly on?: Our love for each other

why would s/he succeed in life?: Very smart, writes well and cause behind a great man, there’s a great woman aka me wtf

what is the coolest gift that s/he has ever given you?: The hershey’s with love notes in every single one of them! And all his love letters. He’s crazy romantic.

what is s/he obsessed with?: Music, clothes, graphic novels, football- too many and none of them is me!

why would s/he be dangerous?: He can get really mean and violent if he wants to be (not to me obviously, he’s like a soft harmless puppy with me ^_^)

what does s/he avoid at all costs?: Arguments with me

what does s/he spend the most money on?: Hmm..clothes..and me

describe his/her typical sunday: Wake up at noon, eat lunch with family, read newspaper and watch tv while surfing online, going to malls with family. Sunday is family day!

tell us about a time s/he looked absolutely gorgeous: All the time! And it’s always when he doesn’t realize it like when he’s doing his work, when he’s talking to people or when we’re lying on the bed talking about random stuff or when he’s looking at me with so much love in his eyes

what’s something about him/her that would surprise all of his/her friends?: That he’s so sweet and romantic =) He doesn’t look like he’s that type at all

what do you love most about him/her?: I don’t think I can ever write a complete list of what I love most about him. His sensitivity to my feelings and to my everything, his patience, his optimism about our relationship, his looks, his humor obviously, his wit, his charm, his romantic side, his love for me which is higher than mountain and deeper than ocean wtf

the biggest lesson you have learnt from loving your partner: To never give up no matter what happens because if you’ve found the one you want to be with forever, then everything will be worth it.

Ok here’s his version! It takes quite a long time to get this from him cause he keeps complaining about how the questions are stupid (sorry su ann..) and how I don’t allow him to divulge things that are too personal. Comments in parentheses are from me.

tell us about the first time you met and your first impression of him/her: Old story. I was having dinner with my family at the Pizza Uno in Taipan. I noticed her right away, because I’d never seen her there before, she was cute, and bizarrely, had a pottu/bindi on her forehead. She served me my lasagna. My aunt commented that she (Suet, that is, not my aunt- that would be rather queer) had been making eyes at me wtf.

tell us something funny about him/her: She used to sign her name as “MALIQUE” WTF RIGHT

(yeap that’s right, I was obsessed with TooPhat at one point and I thought MaliQue is such a nice name so I made it my signature..)

what’s a weird habit or quirk that s/he has: She can’t stop herself from picking at food from your plate if you eat slower than she does, so she’ll blame you for making her fat

what makes him/her happy?: Food. All kinds. The cheaper (free) the better.

what makes him/her sad?: Being in a long distance relationship. Disunity in Malaysia.

what makes him/her angry?: Missing out on breakfast when she wakes up late. Having to waste money on “pointless” stuff. Me. (eh, not that I’m pointless ok, those are separate points)

what excites him/her?: WOHOHO NOW WE’RE GETTING PERSONAL, EH? Cis, Suet and her “no obscenity” clause. Ok lah. Seeing me again and going back home.

what’s s/he like at home?: Lazy. Lying around her apartment wearing her ratty old blue tshirt that’s dotted with holes (some of which I made myself, to convince her to get rid of it) and caked with snot (from crying after arguing with me), watching the telly or surfing the internets, munching on some Malaysian snacks.

what’s s/he like at work/school?: Top, highly emo prefect! I remember she called me once, crying cos her disciplinary teacher turned her down for the head prefect post cos she’s a girl and that she’s too emotional, which shows how emotional she is hahah! She insists that she was a cool prefect though, the type that’s hard but fair and universally-loved wtf among both do-gooders and budak samseng. The type of person you’d hate cos you’re jealous of her smarts/popularity/drive/leadership/looks/samseng boiprens wtf. She used to be really active in high school but now? Stressed over schoolwork, cooping herself up in her room with her Chinese drama shows all the time.

describe his/her room: Her dorm room as I remember it, had two single beds put together in a corner, a desk taking up another corner, a tiny closet, shoe rack by the door, another desk against the wall. There was no space, you had to climb over furniture to get from the bed to the door. But it was comfy

do you know who s/he hates the most?: I could make an educated guess.

have you met his/her exes?: Only one, in our first month of dating. She quickly pulled me away from him. I think she was ashamed cos he was another one of her kutu rock mistakes wtf.

do his/her parents like you?: I hope. Auntie, Uncle, I buy back souvenirs for you ok. Germany, very good quality wan.

First, she’d compare prices (cheap=good), followed by weight (heavy=worth it), followed by calories (higher=fat Suet), and finally packaging (nice design=reward the designers wtf)

(yeah seriously I take the longest time to decide on ANYthing, be it milk or cereal, clothes or makeup etc)

if s/he wasnt going out with you, who would s/he be going out with?: Difficult to say, because she’s changed so much since we started going out, as have I, as a direct result of being with each other. If she’d NEVER met me, she might still be dating Malay rockband members or Chinese basketball coaches wtf. Or if we broke up today, she’d probably go out with someone very similar to me.

tell us about a time s/he looked absolutely gorgeous: Where do I even begin? Many times when she wakes up in the morning next to me, with the sunlight falling upon her tousled bed-hair, looks up at me with bleary eyes, and smiles.

what’s something about him/her that would surprise all of his/her friends?: She’s not kiamsiap, she just chooses carefully what to spend her money on.

what do you love most about him/her?: Her looks, her humor (sometimes in a really stupid way – see previous post about her limited vocab), her care and devotion to me!
