the gui ling gao is way expensive because it contains real tortoise shell init..
the cheap ones were just made by herbs.

I loved HK! Went there before I was vegetarian and went crazy eating. The street stalls sell all kinds of weird food hoh? Like mini octopi on a stick eee.

You didn’t mention about eating their instant noodles – it’s such a staple at their char chan teng there. Always feel kinda cheated buying that but i think it’s like a tradition in HK?

Oh and their steamed milk? Amazing!!! I miss that so much Wonder whether we can replicate that in the kitchen..

hihi.. you can try to take mini bus/double decker bus to the Peak as it’s not that touristy.
lan fang yuan is the nenek moyang of cha chan teng and also the creator of the si-mut tea if i not mistaken
oh.. u can also try the roasted pigeon at sha tin (沙田龙华酒店) coz this is the most famous roasted pigeon in HK but to bear in mind that dishes other roasted pigeon is super expensive.
i love ur HK travel guide as i think it suit’s malaysian taste.. muaks

you MUST try the curry fish balls over at pitt street near cityview hotel. (near argyle street too) they are the BEST fish balls in hk. =D=D=D.

liyen, it’s at mongkok. im not sure can walk anot cause yaumatei is only one station away from mongkok. anyway u come out at mongkok’s station at argyle street exit, should be close by only! maybe u can ask around ask where is the mall with a lot girls stuff wtf i think everyone should know. other shopping places ar..basically mongkok and nathan road has alot shops one so u can explore around that area! tung chung citygate outlet got branded warehouse stuff but it’s quite far away!

australian dairy company have the best scramble egg ever!!
have u tried out the cha chaan teng behind tai cheong? it’s call Lan Fong Yuen, their si-mut tea is really good. you can go Yuen Long for food hunting also, alot of good noodles over there..

For dimsum u should go try Fu Sing Restaurant in Wanchai. They have the best crispy char siew pau. The crabmeat noodles is omg so yummy it gives u foodgasm… Ahh cant wait til I hit Fu Sing again next week!!
